OFR’s vast body of work includes the redevelopment of the Printworks building in Canada Water, one of the tallest residential buildings in Birmingham, as well as historic structures like the Jenners Building in Edinburgh, and the National Gallery, Natural History Museum, and National Portrait Gallery in London. It has also helped to deliver a fairy tale ending at the Category B listed 5-star Glenapp Castle Hotel following an extensive yet challenging £2m refurbishment.

Internationally, its work ranges from providing fire safety guidance to the European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO) for its new European Extremely Large Telescope, which is currently under construction in the Atacama Desert, Chile, on behalf of Ramboll.

Recent growth has seen it continue to build on its globally established reputation, advancing its journey to Net Zero, including embarking upon a Carbon Balancing journey with the World Land Trust – and recruiting more of the fire sector’s best talent with a team now in excess of 100 professionals.
